Integrity, Transparency, and Public Disclosure
In support of these principles, the College includes clear statements of its formal status and clear links to all policies that govern its operation; that guide the academic work of students and faculty; and that set out clear expectations for all associated with the College.
The College’s policies and activities are guided, first and foremost, by Sattler’s mission and institutional objectives which are listed below:
Sattler College seeks to prepare students to serve Christ, the church and the world.
Our mission is to provide an education that instructs the mind, discipleship that shapes the soul, and inspiration that inflames the heart.
Our goal is to enable graduates to heartily say, “For God has not given us a spirit of timidity, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).

- Minimizing or avoiding student debt by managing our fiscal resources well

The successful and consistent application of the College’s mission and the achievement of its institutional objectives are guided by the College’s Board of Trustees, senior leadership team, faculty and staff.
Sattler College believes that Scripture's command to "love your neighbor as yourself" should govern all interpersonal interactions. Thus the College vigorously rejects all forms of harassment and disrespect, especially to groups and individuals that have historically been vulnerable to discrimination. The College strives to foster a respectful, welcoming environment for all students, faculty, and staff. Moreover, Sattler College believes that diversity among its student body, faculty, and staff makes an invaluable contribution to a student's education.
Thus it is the policy of Sattler College--while reserving its lawful rights where appropriate to promote the historic Christian faith in accordance with its mission and founding precepts--to comply with state and federal laws prohibiting discrimination in admissions, employment and in its educational programs on the basis of a person's race, color, national and ethnic origin, sex, religion, disability, age, marital or parental status, sexual orientation, genetic information or family medical history, or military status.
Reports on College Activities and Finances
Sattler College is committed to providing accurate, complete, and public information on its operations, on a regular basis. The College will publish, on this site, annual reports on its activities and its financial position. These reports will include information on student applications and admissions, student retention and graduation, as well as information on criminal activity, as required under the Clery Act. The College will also provide information on all other federal mandates, such as those included under Title VI (which prohibits discrimination based on race) or Title IX (which prohibits discrimination based on sex). With respect to nonprofit status, Sattler College is an independent, not-for-profit educational organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
